Yes, I recommend "charging" the lava stone with essential oil of your choice each time you wear it. Essential oils evaporate over time, allowing you to switch oils.
How do I put essential oil on the lava stone jewelry?
The best and less messy way of "charging" the lava stone with essential oil is to drop 2-3 drops of desired oil(s) into the palm of your hand and then massage it into the lava stone. The gemstones will not absorb the oil so it's only necessary to focus on the porous lava stone areas of the jewelry. The aroma should last throughout the day, but you can always recharge whenever you feel.
